Started in 2010, Gangdong Book Festival is the first and the largest book festival hosted by the public district library.
A book transcends time, space, and different ideas and is a great tool that delivers us the wisdom and experiences of people who lived before our time and in different countries and in the easiest and most interesting way.
Through books, we can reflect on ourselves, take more defined direction with our lives, and find our own path that we have once lost. It is like a form of navigation that guides the road ahead we call âlifeâ.
Reading a book is an effort to understand the world and to communicate with it.
We invite you to this festival in which the past and the present, library and residents, and books and humans are able to communicate with each other.
